GET LOST IN THE RED ROCK.
Especially well suited for both Mountain Biking and Sedona Hiking, there are trails for every skill level, many starting at the door of the Red Agave Adventure Resort. There are many outfitters and bike shops, like our partners at Thunder Mountain Bikes, who offer the latest gear, local advice, excellent service and repair, even rentals of both front and full suspension bikes.
SAFETY FIRST AND ALWAYS.
Your Mountain Biking or Hiking Adventure should include planning for Sonoran Desert conditions. There are several Sedona Outfitters that can assist you to ensure you have all the right equipment. Most trailheads will require the purchase of a Red Rock Pass, available at many locations throughout Sedona. From the Red Agave you can ride from our property without the hassle of time that it takes to drive!

Tell someone where you are going and your expected return time.

Bring a trail map and check the weather before setting out.

Wear appropriate headgear, shoes and take good sunscreen and sunglasses.

Take extra water, desert conditions can require up to a gallon a day to avoid dehydration.

A compass and basic first aid kit can come in very handy.

Your camera and extra film or memory cards and batteries.
